For auction, a pair of unused Hayes railroad crossing signal units. These are the 8 inch units that were eventually replaced by 12 inch units. Because these are smaller, they are much better suited for indoor home hobby applications. They appear to have never been used as t is no sign of weathering or vandalism. The enclosures are pristine and rust free. The lenses are flawless but for some very light scuffing on the outside from storage. A nice coat of paint would fix them up nicely. Unfortunately, one of the reflectors is missing and the other is cracked. The reflectors (and bulbs) are still listed on the Hayes website though I never inquired about their cost. The shades and backstops are painted flat black and have a few minor nicks, scratches and wear associated with storage. Despite the described issues you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer pair of signals for your indoor or outdoor "personal crossing"! As you might expect these guys are heavy and weigh in at nearly 20 pounds. Buyer will pay actual shipping costs and can be calculated below. Please don't ask for personal shipping quotes.
