This pair of shakers was made by Hazel-Atlas and can be found on page 37 of the identification & value guide entitled Kitchen Glassware of the Depression Years by Gene Florence. The red Dutch Skaters Salt & Pepper Range Set is made of milk glass. They measure approximately 4.5 inches tall with lids in place and 2.25 inches square. The original lids are in very good vintage condition with only the salt showing signs of use with slight abrasion marks and a dent. The lids are easily removed and replaced. The shakers are in very good vintage condition, no chips, cracks, nicks, or repairs. The inside rims are smooth. The upraised Dutch Skater decal is complete with bold bright red color on the salt. The pepper Dutch Skater decal does have scratches on the side. Please see the photo. Buyer pays shipping costs based on weight and zip code. This item weighs 2.5 pounds packaged for shipment. Insurance is optional and paid by the buyer. When ever possible we combine multiple purchases for shipment to save on shipping charges.
