HEATHKIT TC-3 TUBE TESTER This tester is very similar to the Heathkit TC-1 & Heathkit TC-2 Models, EXCEPT it will test a few more types of tubes & is 'NOT' in a wooden case..It is in an ALL Metal Case Cabinet...This is a VERY good tester and does have a more MODERN type look... The tester is in very good shape/testing condition; and is giving VERY good quality/accurate readings as follows: *(Tests compared with "Calibrated" Mercury 1000). The 1st testing picture is of an "OLD" v/good tube#80 reading on Plate Side-1 a 98, and the next picture the other side of #80 reading on Plate Side-2 a 95; the 3rd testing picture an "OLD" "fair"#42 reading a 75; the 4th picture testing a NEW 6L6 reading a nice 94; the 5th picture testing a 6F5 w/cap attached reading an 80; and the 6th picture a #6BA7 reading an 76; with the last tube testing picture a 6C4 reading a nice 92.. The LAST 4-pictures are of the "SHORT" lite in operation & pictures of the unit/case exterior.... This units roll chart is smooth operation & Note: this unit does not have the "plastic" cover over the roll chart, {AS SOME DO NOT & SELLER FORGETS TO SAY} but chart is still nice & readable (easy to replace thin plastic); metal case in great shape & meter operates nicely and is in great/clear shape; ALL tube sockets are tight & lites working..
