This HEAVY 8.3 Gram (0.29 Ounce) Over 1/4 Ounce Original Vintage 1950's 10k Solid Yellow Gold Ring is set with a BEAUTIFUL 10ct 13x11mm Oval Ruby with the most Lustrous BRIGHT RED COLOR and Fantastic Clarity. This ruby is a Beautifully Faceted Oval Cut Ruby. This cut is a lower profile cut that keeps the gemstone lower in the setting protecting it from nicks and scratches. The gemstone tests as a ruby on a Presidium Gem Tester and a reflectometer and is most likely a very high quality lab grown ruby. The gemstone has not been removed from the setting for testing so we cannot say definitively it is a natural ruby as it is most likely a very high quality lab grown ruby.
