The book is illustrated by FOUR superb vivid colour plates, including frontis by ANNE ANDERSON . 328 pages. Bound in the publishers grey cloth covered pictorial boards. The spine ends and board corners have light rubbing otherwise the binding is VERY GOOD, the outer page edges are dusty and deckled, a gift inscription written on the first free end paper, the half title page is spotted, there are a few brown spots to a couple of pages which are confined to the margins but the text pages are remarkably clean, the colour plates are present as listed and are in SUPERB condition, the inner hinges and text block is firm. Size 25x14cm. A LOVELY edition of this classic children's novel
