This is a beautiful complete "Summer Memories" set of Heinrich Villeroy & Boch collectors' mocha cups and saucers. This was a gift I received for my wedding but have never used. All of the pieces are in mint condition and in original boxes. These cups are gorgeous, as the brochure says: "Each mocha cup has it's own story to tell, colourfully displayed with gold on the finest of bone china." A beautiful set to use and display in your home. I'm not sure when these were manufactured, the descriptive brochure says printed in Germany 11/97 (I assume that is a date). I cannot find this set (or any type of replacement pieces online anyw So I have to assume that these are rare. Villeroy and Boch made four different sets of these collectors' mocha cups each set with a different theme. As I mentioned earlier this is the "Summer Memories" set. Each cup and saucer has a name they are as follows: "Route 66" :cup and saucer are red,yellow, and orange and have cactus and southwestern theme "Camargue": cups are green with frogs and water lillies "Lagoon": cups are deep green with seashells "Escape": Blue skies with clouds rainbows and hot air balloons "Samarkand" : roayal blue with moons and stars and palaces "Hawaii": Purple and green with flowers and hummingbirds All of the cups also have gold in all of the patterns.
