Heirloom quality Antique Edwardian hand carved hardstone Carnelian Cameo. Solid 14kt gold with gorgeous hand painted Enamel work surrounding the entire frame. Excellent Antique Condition!The cameo is a beautiful piece of art. It features a breathtakingly carved Greek goddess that looks so regal she could be the queen. Her crown looks like stalks of wheat so I assume it is Ceres, the goddess of the harvest and abundance.This is a gorgeous investment grade piece of jewelry that will continue to appreciate in value over the years. It has a fold over locking clasp appropriate to the Edwardian era, and a lovely bale that allows it to be worn as a pendant! Cameo measures 2" long without bale, 2 3/8" with bale extended. At widest center point Cameo measures 1 1/2" wide. This is an heirloom to be treasured and handed down from one generation to the next. A perfect wedding, graduation, or special occasion gift!
