"TRIDENT"(#134) with the "TEA ROSE" etch was manufactured by HEISEY GLASS from 1940-1957. In this auction, we offer the 6" high by 6 1/2" spread 2 LITE candlestick with the ELEGANT and SCARCE "TEA ROSE" etch. It is in SUPERB NEVER USED condition without any cracks, chips, nicks or stains. REF: NEILA BREDEHOFT'S Heisey Glass 1925-1938(1999); BREDEHOFT/BREDEHOFT'S Heisey Glass 1896-1957(2001), this candlestick is pictured on pg. 208; FELT/E&R STOER'S Glass Candlestick Book Vol 2(2003), the #134 Trident Candlestick is depicted on pages 123-124; FLORENCE'S Pattern ID Guide(2000), the TEA ROSE etch on the trident candlestick is shown on pg. 174. As we get on in years, we have ceased our stamp collecting activities, and now, we will be liquidating over 300 pieces of antique glassware that we have accumulated over the past five years. Even more of an inititive is the fact that our Bride of 40 years has indicated that I need to stop my compulsive buying of glassware and sell the stuff that fills up my garage and another room, if I want to make it to 41 years. So, we will move on to new compulsions such as woodworking and fishing.
