Married to well-known abstract artist Ken Bushell she has built up a strong reputation of a forward thinking contemporary artist in the States. She hold exhibition at MOMA ( Museum of Modern Art), the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Solomon Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Tate Gallery in London and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. She was also a visiting professor of art at Parson's School of Design and Pratt Institute in New York. She taught Fine Art at the University of Hawaii-Manoa for 30 years!
