zipzoom Rosasite¸ Hemimorphite & Calcite - Location: Cumbers Vein¸ Level 6¸ Ojuela¸ Mapimi¸ Mexico. Small Cabinet. Here we have a nice matrix specimen of rosasite crystal aggregates along with some sharply formed calcite crystals and some clusters of hemimorphite crystals. Rosasite is a hydrated copper/zinc carbonate. The rosasite crystal aggregates have a nice light bluish-green color. There are also numerous well formed and sharp gemmy platy tabular colorless calcite crystals. The calcite crystals are very lustrous.
