Up for auction is this rare stainless steel Hen & Rooster bowie knife with a beautiful engraving celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. The bowie has never been used. Included is a quality H&R leather sheath. The blade measures approx. 15" in length overall with a 9" blade. This #0010 bowie is a limited addition 1/500 knife. The engraving shows a northern and southern soldier facing each other with rifles and bayonets fixed. There background is a flag that is half Confederate and half Union design. The handle is made of beautiful white crown stag. I searched everywhere on the web and could not find one example of this stainless steel style bowie by H&R anywhere. (The current H&R Civil War bowie is finished in black.)
