Henry Miller, Autographs (3) and Photo's (2) of himself, 1949 - 1957. Letters and photo's of Miller were acquired many years ago on a Dutch auction as one lot. I sell them not separately, because these ten items historically belong to each other. · Three letters from Henry Miller, Big Sur , California to his Dutch translator Jan Schlamilch in Utrecht (1951, 1953, 1957). Subjects: world politics, life and his books. · Miller sent to Schlamilch also two photographs of himself (1949 by 'Red' Shelton and 1951) with handwritten texts on each (!). (13 x 9 cm and 8,5 x 10,5 cm) · Enclosed in the correspondence is also Miller's personal carte de visite , used during his stay in Paris , before 1938 (!). · Enclosed are also two letters by Miriam & Kenneth Patchen in San Francisco , who as a friend of Miller's accompanied translations of Miller's work. · Enclosed are two brochures by Miller for his books Into the Night Life and the Waters .
