A Gilt Bronze Buffalo by Listed German American Artist Henry Van Wolf of N. Hollywood California . (1898 - 1982) This Buffalo Bronze was purchased and presented to Chef G. Conte from his staff at the Beverly Hilton Hotel , Beverly Hills California , Christmas 1958 . Henry Van Wolf is well known for his bronze statues , Sculptor / Native American Indian Figure and Portrait , And founded the San Fernando " Valley Artists Guild " in 1948 which still exists today . Henry Van Wolf life size bronze statues are listed on the web for sale at $ 125,000.00 to $ 400.000.00 This buffalo bronze with mounting base measures 6 1/2 inches high , 8 inches long and 4 inches wide . Mounting base is wood , Weight is about 6 pounds . Thank you
