A Classic Herbert Terry anglepoise lamp from the 1950s. The lamp has been left in it's orriginal cream paint that is in great vintage condition, there are just a few tiny marks on the paint that you would expect on a used lamp of this age. The base has new felt to protect polished surfaces. It has been fitted with a new earthed chrome bulb holder and a new 40w bulb, new double insulated braided cable, a new inline on/off switch and a top quality British MK 3 pin 3 amp fused wall plug. The lamp holds it's various positions with ease, it has no dents and the chrome springs are all clean and strong. In short a lovely practical classic lamp that meets current safety regulations and is ready to use. Base 6" square. Height 19" in lowered position. Width 15" Max.
