This was the only coin issued for general circulation dated 1972. The crown is in uncirculated (UNC) condition and the item is housed in a display protection case - can be removed for framing if so desired. In the Second Round it took Hereford two replays to defeat Northampton but the team waiting for them in the Third Round was none other than Newcastle of the First Division. Newcastle were held 2-2 at St James’ Park before the replay, at Edgar Street on 5 th February 1972, which was covered by the BBC.
