An exceptionally beautiful vintage, but not antique West German French style column clock by Hermle from a fina local estate. This is one of the prettiest clocks I have seen in a while and was made by a quality maker. It is working perfectly and keeping good time. It has a very nice sounding two tone bell chime that double counts the hours on the hour, and double chimes one time on the half hour. Cosmetically, the clock and it's case are in excellent condition in every way. The floral and gilt decorations all appear to be hand painted. I'm not sure exactly what the case composition is, although it appears to be some type of porcelain. It measures 14 1/2" high x 9" wide x 6" deep. The diameter of the dial bezel is 4 1/2". It does come with a winding key. This is a quality clock...it weighs over 10 lbs. unpacked. The movement is marked Hermle and West Germany on the back. I have this clock categorized as vintage pre 1970, but I'm not exactly sure when it was made...my guess it was made in the 1960's but it meight have been made more recently than that, I'm not sure. A beautiful clock. be determined at the end of the auction and is dependent on how far you live from NC (see shipping calculator). Buyer to pay actual Parcel Post shipping in the continental US. It will be double boxed for shipping safety. International shipping must be
