Auction is for a Herschede Model # 400 Petite Grandfather Clock. This clock was made in 1927, the first year Herschede started making petite grandfather clocks. Petite clocks were larger than a Grandmother Clock, but smaller than a Grandfather Clock. These clocks are perfect for the modern home. Height is 76", width 16", depth 11-1/2". Model name is Sheraton. Dial is 11" X 14". Pendulum is a special order 3 vial. The pendulum has a weight in the center jar, and is not a mercury pendulum. It is a 5 tube movement which plays Westminster Chimes. Tubes are in excellent condition, with no cracks or breaks. Wood is Honduras Mahogany, two tone brown. Clock is running and striking properly. Plaque on door states Herschede Hall Clock Company Grand Prize. This is a local pick-up only item. If you wish to have it shipped, you will have to make the arrangements.
