Amazing old antique guide book to Atlantic City from 1895! Profusely illustrated! "Heston's Handbook of Atlantic City" by A. M. Heston, 1895 116 pages, plus numerous ads and appendices, book measures about 6x9 inches, original illustrated board covers with cloth spine. Large fold-out map of the city in 1895 measures about 18x24". Includes the origins and history of Atlantic City as well as descriptions of all the current (as of 1895) winter and summer attractions. This rare gem is in beautiful original condition. The covers and spine have some minor wear and rubbing, and there is a small (less than dime size) ink spot on the front, otherwise the binding is firm and the interior is unmarked. Carefully packed and shipped with tracking. From a smoke-free, pet-free environment. I will gladly combine shipping on multiple orders, but please wait for invoice.
