For consideration, this SUPER RARE!! HEYWOOD WAKEFIELD DINING SET. It features a SOLID WOOD table that has straight ends and slightly curved sides. The table legs have a nice sculptural quality to them. The set includes 1 CAPTAINS CHAIR and 3 SIDE CHAIRS. This set is a great size for a small space or a large one. The table is model M1130G from 1955-1959. The side chairs are model M2181A and the captains chair is model M2181C from 1959 I believe. The finish is TOPAZ. All of the chairs retain their Heywood Wakefield labels. This set is VERY RARE. You would definitely have a set unlike any of your friends!! The set is in GREAT VINTAGE CONDITION. The backs of the chairs have a wonderful DANISH MODERN appeal but are also VERY SLEEK and SOPHISTICATED! The table has a couple of VERY SLIGHT and FAINT scratches. They don't even show up on camera so they are DEFINITELY NOT DISTRACTING. I am just mentioning this for full disclosure. The chairs show less than typical wear on the legs. This was a rarely used set. The furniture is very solid and stable. The pieces need a good polishing. KEEP IN MIND, THIS SET IS ALMOST 50 YEARS OLD!
