This postmarked 1953 promotional postcard from THE HI-HAT Jazz Club in Boston advertises THE HI-HAT PARADE OF STARS FOR 1953...starting with Stan Getz and his Quintet plus Boston's own "Jumpin" Herbie Lee. Next is Arnett Cobb "The Wild Man Of The Sax" and His Frantic Band. SYMPHONY SID "Disc Jockey Of The Year" is the Sunday mantinee performer. The card has some printing ink smudges which could be original to the 1953 printing.
