Artistic scene of horses frolicing in moonlight carved into heavy shibuichi plate with gold overlay. This tsuba is representative of better quality 18th/19th century kinko work. Size is 2.63 inches high by 2.42 inches wide and 1/8th inch thick. I've not been able to translate the signature. Has been mounted on a sword, and would dress up a sword in quiet elegance.
