Moderate rubs at the spine ends and corner tips. Minor surface soil. Binding is tight and square with no tears or cracks to gutters. Illustrated endpages. Pages are clean and crisp with no tears, chips, marks or creases. Previous owner's name on blank page preceding the title page. DJ is in Fair condition with a 1.0" chip to bottom margin near the spine base. A 1.5" chip near top of spine and two 1/2" chips to top margin of rear panel. Heavy edge rubbing. Several small marginal tears. Published by Garden City Publishing, Garden City, NY, this 10.25" x 10.25" book has 14 unumbered pages. From the DJ: Herbert Morton Stoops, who knows and lvoes Indians very well and is famed for his drawings of them, has illustrated this childhood and made a book that all children will cherish.
