EXQUISITE RARE HICKORY CHAIR CO. CHIPPENDALE STYLE SOFA CAMEL BACK CARVED MAHOGANY FRAME From personal collection of a MAJOR Bank president penthouse floor office. An Exquisite & Rare HICKORY CHAIR Co. Chippendale Style Sofa: Camel back with Carved Mahogany Frame. UNBELIEVABLY COMFORTABLE. TRULY FIT FOR A PRESIDENT. Rococo motifs in the decorative carving of the frame with more scroll and foliate motifs; having a golden beige silk upholstery with lions in oval medallions; not apparently having a maker’s label; in good used condition with some minor wear; measuring ~ 32”h., 81”w., 38”d.
