Offered for auction, one in a series of pieces from Michael and Francis Higgins. This particular dish, a 7" x 10" bold raised colorblock design ashtray in two tone green, yellow. and red/orange. This dish may date from their studio work in Chicago on Wells Street, but is without "dancing man" raised logo and no "higgins" engraved signature. It may also be early Riverside studio. I do not believe this to be a mass produced Dearborn piece, but I'll let you decide. Finish on surface is slightly less glossy than most Higgins pieces, having a more dull, iridescent quality. Slight scuffing to surface from use. A terrific and unique piece to add to your Higgins collection. All of my Higgins listings are as described, in excellent condition, showing light wear from age and use. Shipping within the continental US is $8.00. Email with any questions.
