This superb 0.5x focal reducer has been designed to be used with a wide range of modern CCD cameras and eyepieces. The lens has a standarded female 1.25" eyepiece filter thread and could be attached to camera and eyepiece nose barrels to achieve a about 40-50% increase in Field Of View (FOV). The exact degree of focal reducyion obtained will depend on the precise setting of the other lenses etc. It has fully anti-reflection coatings on all air-glass surfaces for increased contrast. Besides the male thread, it also has female thread at the rear end to fit filters etc. The focual reducer is great for visual use for a bigger FOV and is indispensable when CCD imaging! Supplied in a high quality plastic storage case. Picture shows the rear end is also threaded to take in any a filter etc. The rear end of the reducer can take a filter or another 0.5x reducer if needed. Comes with a jewellery case for easy storage. I am in fact selling tese case seperately as storage for filters etc. I have a personal Quality Promise on this great lens.
