However, unlike most of the other Katanas out there this sword does not have a plastic handle. This is the Poly Resin version of the Katana. The Poly Resin is expertly crafted and has the feel of ivory. The coiled King Cobra and Poly Resin set this Sword Set above most other reproductions. Attributes of the Weapon: Blade: The blade of the sword is 440 Stainless Steel with an aesthetic hamon . The blade comes slightlty sharpened. Scabbard: The scabbard is a beautiful snake skin design with each individual scale prominant against the scabbard. A coiled king cobra rests on each end of the scabbard. A black cord sage-o is tied around each kurigata. The scabbard is constructed of Poly Resin with a wooden core. Guard: The guard is golden steel with the a warrior kami in relief. Handle: The Fuchi is also golden steel. The handle is Poly Resin with the traditional Highlander Japanese scene. The pommel of the sword is the Connor Macleod open mouth dragon. Stand: The Sword Stand is a Three Tier Table Top Stand constructed from Poly Resin. Each side of the stand is a Sea Dragon riding the waves. The center of the stand is waves with Kanji in the center.
