This is a very nice old thermometer. In great condition. Appears to have a glass face, not plastic. The main body i think is aluminum. No cracks or chips in face. Back side is good. One little hanging tab is slightly bent. No biggy. I have not cleaned this at all anyway. Looks good & displays well. I think it reads a little cooler than it actually is. Maybe 5 degrees or so is all. Not much really. Down at bottom where it reads Hiram Walker & Sons, Peoria,IL WD435, i assume that's a old phone #. Not positive. The glass face is smooth, not pitted. There are a couple small dots of dirt on the inside of the cover. Nothing bad & not really to noticeable. There is a little ding at the bottom on the outside ban. Very small. Overall a really neat old advertising piece. Sold as is. Look the pics over good, they are a good description. I have tried to describe it the best i can good & bad so you know what you are getting.
