This rare Philips pressing from 1969 catalogue No 88457 DE is an historic souvenir made exclusively for the News of the world and is a step by step account of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Containing. 1 outer gatefold sleeve titled Man on the moon, featuring historical events of the past 12 years leading up to the event. 1 inner gatefold sleeve, titled Luner landing mission profile. A further inner gatefold sleeve, titled A logbook of main events on Apollo XI mission. A 45 RPM record catalogue No 88457 DE, titled Man on the moon. An authorised account of the historic landing including the voices of a NASA announcer and the astronauts: Commander Neil Armstrong, Colonel Edwin Aldrin junior, and Lieutenant Colonel Michale Collins. Condition. Slight crease across bottom corner of front sleeve, otherwise sleeve and contents are all in near nint condition.
