Book was written by Isaac W. Guldin in 1903 to the memory of Rev. Samuel K. Guldin and Rev. John C. Guldin. Book covers the history and geneology of the Guldin family from 1529 in Gall Switzerland from there to America from 1710 until 1903. Book looks to have been privately printed and published by Isaac Guldin of Reading Pennsylvania in 1903. There are 5 hand drawn maps of 1). Railroads from the City of Bern Switzerland 2). of Lake Constance (showing St. Gall and other surrounding towns cities, etc. 3). Village map of Bern 4). Lake Geneva, Savoie (showing Railroads) 5). Lake Lucerne (showing railroads, cities and towns). There are 3 illustrations 1). Isaac Guldin 2). Church in Munster (where Rev. Samuel K. Guldin was elected Associate Pastor in 1696) 3). Rev. John C. Guldin. There are 286 pages not including a section for Corrections and Explanations which is two pages. Some of the towns, townships and counties mentioned are Amityville, Bernville, Reading, Allentown, Exeter Township, Berks County, Pottstown, Falconer Swamp, East Coventry, East Vincent, Oley, Pleasantville, Chester County, Philadelphia, Franklin County, Hagerstown, MD, etc. Condition-cover has wear, chipping(with areas chipped away, as seen in pictures, with scraps, bumps, etc., there is page yellowing, tape on hinges(which may have been there from the book's inception), light marks, to include red ink and pencil which only look to be updates made after the book was finished, at later times, such as to note a date of birth or death, etc., occasional light foxing, spots, an occasional page has edge wear/tear, otherwise fine.
