"The History of the Great European War" W Stanley MacBean Knight; Caxton Publishing Company; undated but 1919 or 1920 (volume 1 has a receipt dated 1920 from the company). Published in ten volumes. Price is for all ten and I would much prefer not to split. Some of the spines have faded (see picture 1) but all in all they are in good condition. But they do weigh an arm and half a leg so the price includes an element to make up for the postage shortfall...parcel will cost c £19 to post. I am not a professional bookseller but hope to cut back from some 5,000 volumes. Most are hardback and about half of these are non-fiction with a tendency towards history, the classics, biography and autobiography, the arts, travel and maps, reference, and esoterica. Of the paperbacks, most are science fiction, fantasy, horror, thrillers, crime and detection, and modern novels. All books are in 'good' or better condition unless noted above.
