The History of Scotland by William Robertson Physical Description: vol.1 viii, 514 Pages, 1 Plate, vol.2 (1) 487,47,(44)pages, 1 Plate. Edition: A New Edition Language: English Printed: Dublin by James Williams , 1778 Size: 22 cm x 14 cm I shall be listing some leather bound books that are in poor condition rather than discard them. The 2 volumes come in uniform tree calf bindings with green marble edges. Covers: The front boards are detached on the volumes and both rear boards are cracked on the outer hinges and held, all the boards are rubbed and scraped, all the edges are rubbed and chipped with some minor dents, all corners are chipped. The spines are all rubbed, chipped and cracked. Inside: Both the volumes have come apart into 2 halves. There is a name and address written on the 2 pastedowns. The endpaper and frontispiece are detached and the title page and contents pages are barley attached on vol. 1. The inside is a lot better than the bindings and worth rebounding with just minor light spotting and occasional dust marks. Both volumes are complete.
