is a auction for a fine old pipe. It is used but in excellent condition. This pipe has the name and origin on the back of the stem behind the bowl foot. It reads HJERTE- BRIER and below that is KOBENHAVN and the bottom letters read Made in Denmark. The pipe bowl is approximately 1 inch across the opening and 1 3/4 inches deep. The outside of the bowl is 2 & 5/8s inches tall at the highest point from the bottom of the foot. The foot of the bowl is oval and is 1 & 3/4 inches from front to back. The length from the front of the bowl to the lip of the stem is approximentely 6 inches. On a postage scale, the pipe weighs 3 ounces. This is a nicely grained briar. I am listing 3 different family pipes this evening. Buyer to pay postage of 5.25 for Priority mail with delivery confirmation. Insurance is 1.65 additional if desired. Payment can be made through Paypal or by Money Order. Payment to be received within 5 days of end of auction. I do combine auction wins for most favorable postage cost and service. Mailing will be next business day after receipt of funds. I package items with proper protection in a Priority box.
