A nice clean HMV102 gramophone in dark red leatherette with chromium plated fittings. The case is sound with no damage but does show some wear to the edges. The lid/catch lock has lost it's plating, the carrying handle fixtures are losing the plating. The carrying strap is a modern replacement of the correct type and colour. The interior is very good, all fittings are chromium plated, in good condition and in working order. The felt on the turntable and record tray is original and in excellent condition. The original 5A soundbox is in good order and plays well. The motor has been cleaned and oiled, the spring cleaned and regreased and runs smoothly and quietly. When played, the sound is excellent. Also included is an HMV tin of the 'Tungstyle' semi-permanent gramophone needles, in the clip provided. Gramophone can be collected if required. Will post to USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Europe, UK. Postage shown is to UK ONLY, buyers from outside UK please email for postage cost. Postage will be recorded, signed for.
