From the latest collection of Train stuff.... Steam Engine Week - HO - In this auction we have a 4-4-2 Steam Engine made by Mantua. The engine is numbered '7008'. The matching 8 Wheel Tender is decorated for the Pennsylvania RR. It has a standard coupler. We tested the engine on a short oval and it responded very well in both directions. Having said that, however, we have to note that most of the engines coming from this collection have not seen much running time in the last few years. A good cleaning and lubricating is recommended to further enhance the operation of this fine piece. This item is in the original Manuta -The Master Trainbuilders' box, with a decal that refers to the 'New Sagami Motor'. Hope this helps in your bidding.
