HO Scale (1/87th) NIB assembled plastic model. We started with the new Walthers model of a 35' fluted-side Van Trailer decorated for the Minneapolis & St. Louis Railway (M&StL, the Looie) and added mud flaps, a license plate, painted details, and just a smidgen of weathering. The tractor is a Classic Metal Works 1950's-60's International R-190, to which we added a Plano crossover platform, A-Line mud flaps, license plates, paintedd etails and Plano mirrors. It is lettered for "Spellacy". It too received a very light dash of weathering and both pieces were given a final coat of Testor's Dullcote.Why "Spellacy", you say? Well, the M&StL contracted out their LTL business to Spellacy Motor Cargo of Minneapolis and the Walthers trailer also has lettering to reflect that fact.Also, the "up" landing gear for the trailer is very lightly glued in place and we will provide the lucky Buyer with the "down" gear as well.A one-of-a-kind piece!
