From Personal Collection Extremely Rare 1961 HO CHI MINH - Signed Document Final Item from my HCM Collection One Only Available Awarded in Presentation of the Resistance Order Extremely Rare Viet Cong Document. This is without a doubt one of the most of Viet Cong / Viet Minh items. Signed (in fountain pen) by Ho Chi Minh on the 3rd of August 1961 the document was presented for the award of the ' Resistance Order to Nguyen thi Thanh Lam. Resistance Order First awarded in the early days of the French Indochine War, 1948, the Resistance Order was presented to Combat Operatives of the Viet Minh / PAVN (Peoples Army of Vietnam ) and was awarded for Meritorious Service in Combat against the enemy of the Viet Minh and Viet Cong. (French South Vietnamese, Americans and Allies). This is one of the earlier awarded for combat against the Allies of the Vietnam War. The Document: The Document is by far the best condition of any Ho Chi Minh signed document that I have come across. Measuring, 16.5 x 13 inches ( 42 x 33 cms ) it has been stored in plastic covering for many years (not laminated). Document will easily survive removal from plastic and framing such is the condition.
