This item is a used Bachmann HO standard gauge John Bull engine. The model does run and is a tender drive locomotive. (PLEASE NOTE: I am not an HO scale modeler and do not have any HO track. To test these engines I used a KaDee Wheel Cleaner. If applying the wheel cleaner to the wheels makes the motor turn over and the engines drive wheels turn that is my test that the engine runs. If I state it runs that’s what happens when I apply power through the wheel cleaner. All of the used engines could use a good wheel cleaning and lubrication.) The headlight is a dummy and does not operate. While this is a used model it is in very good condition. This is part of my late friend’s model railroad. As part of his will he asked that I sell off his model railroad items. All funds raised, after eBay and Pay Pal expenses will be donated to the NMRA in his name.
