HO LIFE-LIKE WABASH PA Locomotive lettered: 1020A COLOR : gray, navy, white, yellow lettering Wabash "Cannonball" some folks tell me "Midnight Special," FYI... CONDITION : BRAND NEW, test run only (In handling to photograph, I broke off the foot rail on the Engineer's door on the shell. I will repair, or include in the box - hence the discounted price). This in no way effects the operation and can barely be seen once the trucks and motor are attached to the shell, please see photo that I provided. DESCRIPTION : Top light is a MARS Light, very cool (Mars Lights used a variety of different means to cause the light to oscillate vertically, horizontally, or both, to catch the attention of motorists and pedestrians), this one is the four tiny bulb type that appears to be spinning in a circle, the bottom light is on constant. Only PA-1 that I have with this feature(I wish they were ALL like this)...and it looks great in motion with the dimmed lights around the layout. Widely regarded as the most stylish diesel locomotive ever produced, the PA-1 was distinguished from the competition. The square-looking six-foot long nose, automobile styled grilles and rain gutters, along with an underframe crowded by 15.5 foot wheel-base trucks gave the PA a business-like, and at the same time, attractive look.
