Up for auction is the Walthers Tugboat - waterline model ready for your layout waterfront scene. This model was built but never used for a layout and has been on display in a glass case for 3 years. The model was also built with working navigation lights - miniatronics white, red, and green mini bulbs - 1.5 volts with a (2) (AA) battery pack under the main superstructure. All of the above superstrucure cab be removed to access the batteries. The on/off switch is under the deck hatch on the aft upper deck. The deck gun water cannon on the bridge roof was taken from an Athearn fire truck and was more detailed than the Walthers kit. There are various details added, fire hose, drums, figures, rope forward and aft, and a doberman pinscher. As is seen with all working tug boats, tires have been added to the bow on both sides for pushing a barge or ship. There is plenty of room to add whatever other details that the buyer feels are needed. The tug is painted and lettered for the tub boat "Philadelphia" and as mentioned is a waterline kit. This model has no box and I prefer a local sale and pickup, but I am willing to pack the tug carefully to alleviate as much damage as is humanly possible if the buyer is out of the area.
