This is for an HO scale vintage diecast train 4-6-2 Pacific steam engine and tender for parts or restoration. I think this is a Varney or Possibly a Bowser or possibly an American Flyer engine but can't be sure. I have looked all over the engine and tender but can't find any markings. The motor looks like a Athearn but I didn't think Athearn ever made any steam engines. The chassis is all diecast metal except the cow catcher and the tender frame is all metal too. I have put power to the motor and it does turn the drive wheels. It looks like someone tried to repaint this engine and tender at one time. This engine and tender would be a great project and would look really nice running on your HO scale train layout once it has been restored. E-mail me with any questions or for additional photos.
