This is a wonderful model of a very rare and sought after HO Scale United Brass PFM (Pacific Fast Mail ) Baldwin Sante Fe 2-10- 2 heavy freight Locomotive No 3892 painted and weathered in AT&SF Black. Its a very well constructed Japanese brass model being produced back in the mid 1960s. The detail for its age is very good and as you would expect it runs very smoothly, using the US pick up system via the tender, which needs connecting to the loco to run or it will not work.The model has seen use but is in pretty good shape for its age . it is complete as far as i know but i am no expert, take a good look at the photos and if you need any other help or close up pics just get in touch. the model has a few minor cosmetic issues to attend to such as some minor paint chips on the cab rails and cab roof etc, can easily be touched in. The model is running with an oil fired tender again in very good condition. The model comes in its original box base Only sadly No top with this one but suffering the usual time related splits to the edges again minor. One of these models recently sold on the Brasstrains website for $595. so grab a bargain.
