For auction is a Creamer in the style of French Opalescent Hobnail Glass. A fellow eBayer informed me that this piece appears to be an old Hobbs Brockunier that was produced in the late 1800's. Perhaps other glass experts out t who collect these beautiful pieces will help me out, as I have several other pieces that I will be listing this week. This treasure has light surface scratches on the inside. T is also surface wear on the base of the piece as well as a small chip on the top rim and a small chip on the top upper left side of the handle that I can see. These are difficult to detect on this type of glass which do not detract from the aesthetics of the piece and are mentioned for accuracy.T is some dirt that seems to have accumulated in the small holes surrounding the rim of the Creamer. Apart from this it has weatd the years well and is in good condition. The Creamer measures approximately 4 1/2" highest point x 5 1/4" Spout to Handle. I purchased this item at an estate sale w everything was 100+ years old. It was an amazing sale in an 1890's home in an affluent suburb outside of Chicago. This beautiful opalescent glass caught my eye so I purchased several pieces that I will be listing this week. Thanks for visiting my auction!
