Up for auction is a modern hand carved Classic style Hobo Nickel depicting a Civil War Soldier, by artist "Buzzardjaws" (OHNS member RM1430). Buzz uses only tools fashioned from sharpened nails in order to keep alive the old tradition of carving hobo nickels using "a nickel and a nail". This nickel is carved from a 1937 full date Buffalo nickel with deep carved lines and nicely smoothed backgrounds. You can add this nice specimen to your own collection, or it would also make a great Father's Day gift for any man you know who is interested in the history of the Civil War. I ship by USPS and ship same day as payment received if payment is received before 4:00 pm EST. I will ship next day or next business day for payments received after 4:00 or on Saturdays and Sundays.
