This is a signed personal check (see picture) of BASEBALL HALL OF FAME legendary catcher RICK FERRELL. Rick Ferrell played in the Major Leagues from 1929 through 1947 with the Red Sox, Browns, and Senators. He was an 8-time All-Star, and played in the very first All-Star Game in 1933. After his playing career ended, Ferrell spent over 40 years in the Detroit Tigers organization as a coach, scout, and general manager. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984. Sadly, Rick Ferrell passed away in 1995 at the age of 89. This check is clean and intact, exhibiting the usual bank marks and cancellations. The signature is clear and legible. This check would make a great addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Rick Ferrell enthusiast; Red Sox, Browns, Senators, or Tigers fan; or vintage autograph collector in your life!
