Hofner Colorama 1. potcode 250k,261(week26/1961) Serial no 1140, 1962. The guitar is fixed neck and is straight and the guitar is of solid wood construction. I purchased this guitar with a non hofner pickup.I found a suitable diamond logo pickup,and the dc resistance is 6K ohms. There is some crazing to the paint I have NOT refurbished this guitar but have added a pickup and scratchplate to make it playable again.The info I added at the top is from a Hofner website. There is an area of paint damage near the new pickup-when the previous pickup was removed 'it is an area of 3 to 4mm wide around the new pickup.Look at photo3 under the arrows.
