A Lovely Late 50’s or Early 60’s Hofner Committee Brunette. Inside the body is marked E2 Thin. Brunette Committee No. 1436. With hard case I have just had the guitar set up. Brand new strings, Neck reset to improve action, pots cleaned. This has resulted in a lovely playing and sounding Hofner Committee. Guitar has been well used and Gigged with. The Hofners that are playable should be played. It isn’t a mint guitar. Scratch plate removed for aesthetic reasons. (holes visible where scratch plate was) The odd nock and scratch. No Damage though. Slight Flaking around where the neck was reset. (one pick up is slightly louder than the other, one may need recoiling soon) Still has a lovely shine and lovely grain to the wood. Please examine the photos closely. All in all, a very usable and playable Committee with signs of use but still a stunning guitar. Would prefer collection only, London Uk. Postage is very expensive due to very heavy wooden case. I do not accept responsibility for damage in the post hence collection preferred and no returns . Any Questions Don’t hesitate.
