This auction is for an original guaranteed old thin paper poster that was produced by the International Stock Food Co of Minneapolis. Highly sought after due to great grafics and colors of this company. It is from an International Album put out in 1908 by the International Stock Food Co. It originally had 36 pages which 18 could be framed as pages were double sided with one side a little better than the other. This cover poster is 10" x 13 3/4" in fair condition. Has a crease on top right, and margins are complete but it has several about 1/8" tears in the margin area which should all be covered when framed, but of course it is about 98 years old so that does happen. Neat picture of a fat hog beside a very homely girl. It says Gentlemen: I am mailing you photographs of a large Poland China hog. Just after it farrowed I took it to the house and my little seven year old girl began nursing it on a bottle. At one week of age she began feeding it International Stock Food and continued until he was 14 months of age when I killed him and he weighed 721 lbs. Yours respectfully J.H. Sisson.
