The title and picture give an accurate indication of the specific tag offered. Below is some helpful background information about tobacco plug tags. Literally thousands of brands of plug tobacco existed in the 1800s. Small Lithographed tin labels bearing the brand, icon, and firm name were pressed into each plug to brand the tobacco. Coming in a variety of shapes the tobacco tags ranged in size from roughly a little smaller than a dime to a bit bigger than a quarter. Most tags had sharp points that held the tag to the tobacco plug. But sometimes small nails were used and these tags can be identified by their nail holes. Though these tags were mass produced I have found no two from the same brand that are exactly alike. Please check out all my items for more great collectible deals from a variety of categories. THANKS
