I just love this pattern by LakeView Primitives. It is called Puppy Paws, but I have made it into a Holiday rug by adding Santa Hats to the top of the dogs heads. It is so cute. If you are a dog lover or have one in the family this would make a great Christmas gift. The rug measures 16 inches in diameter and is made of high quality wool-felt. It is all handstitched. I use no glue or fusible webbing on my rugs. The background is black.....the dogs are done in a bronze color and their hats are bright Christmas Red. Each of the dogs have black button eyesand big black noses.....the tall dogs have red tongues sticking out their mouths. The pennies are their paws all around the penny rug which have been stitched securly on.
