Who could ever imagined that Three (3) Brothers living in Manhattan could achieve International Popularity, in the Realm of Ceramics?Well the Brothers Holt did, Grant, John and Robert joined together in 1949 to Create a Unique Line of Cute Whimsical items, that Individuals throughout the World, still Collect & Love.The most Famous are the Christmas and Pixie Editions of the 1950's.Yet all of their works are considered Highly Desirable and Collectible.The Original Company ended in 1968 when most of the assets were bought out by a Multi-National named General Housewares Corporation. What remained of the Holt-Howard Company was eventually bought by Kay Dee Designs of Rhode Island, USA.The Brothers did good! Many of the Items they Created are still around, but the Supply is starting to dwindle.This is an example of the Unique Nature they released.This is a Tomato Cup with a Vine Handle and a Lettuce Leaf Plate Set of Eight (8).It is actually a very complimenting pair.The Four (4) Cups measure: 5' Long by 3&3/4" Wide by 2&1/4" Tall. The Four (4) Plates are, 8&1/2" Long by 7&1/4" Wide and 5/8" Deep.This is a rather Interesting Set, that makes Perfect Sense, while Creating the Perfect Visual.All Eight (8) of these pieces are Ink Stamped and are in Real Good Condition, especially for their age, of 46 Years Old.T are some very small paint read more
